Do you want to gain control over your health by taking care of your body?
You can make changes to your daily habits that will help you improve your health and reduce your risk for chronic diseases and life threatening responses to infections. The focus on this course is in learning what types of behaviors lead to encouraging healthy as well as unhealthy results, and then learning how to incorporate those healthy behaviors. In addition to learning what healthy habits lead to optimizing your wellness, we will spend time discussing how even the smallest shifts in your own habits can lead to health improvements. You will learn how to make sustainable changes to your own life and health through small, yet cumulative changes. Topics covered in each course will follow similar outline:
- Learn the science behind that topic that applies to your health
- Understand the application of that topic as it relates to healthy habits
- Learn strategies for incorporating those healthy habits to your life
- Take away your own individualized plan for each healthy habit
The four topics that will be covered are: exercise, nutrition, sleep and stress reduction. Each topic is presented as its own class, you can enroll in any one or combination of the classes. There is a discount for enrolling in all 4 classes.
